Card making events

Cards for Bravery's main service is card distribution to hospitalised children. We hope the positive cards given will brighten up their day during the hard times they face.

We therefore host card making events to bring together people who want to make cards for us!

Hosting your own card making event

We have had several groups such as Brownies, Girls Brigades, University Societies or even hospitals themselves hold card-making events for us! It is easier than you seem and the main things you need are;

a group of people, a time and location, and card making supplies!

Card making event guide

Card-making events can be hosted by you to create a fun and creative environment for everyone to create cards! The purpose of these events is to brighten up the days of hospitalised children during tough and tiring times in hospitals.

The event can be as big or small as you like. Examples of past card-making events have been hosted by schools, brownies or even your group of family and/or friends!

Before hosting a card-making event, please provide us with the following information:

Location of card-making event
Date and Time of card making event
Whether you want card-making supplies, printable card guidelines and/or flyers and posters

When making your card, make them as colourful, bright and uplifting as you can!

We prefer no 'Get Well Soon' messages

Sign the cards with 'Love, Cards for Bravery', with your name (with institution if applicable) at the back so the children know someone is thinking of them!

Advertise your event on social media and tag us so we can share it on our page! Any pictures would be great exposure for us to show your creations.
